PC Support - About.com maintains a fairly comprehensive section with online tutorials for installing computer components (hardware) onto your PC. Their easy to follow guides with nice photos will help you along your way when you run into problems with your PC hardware installs.
PCHelp World - PC Help World is run entirely by Microsoft Certified Professionals, this site if for the non-technical computer user, and offers tips on how to tweak and fix your computer.
PC Tech Bytes - Offers free computer tech support...they recently added 'video' tech support, includes articles on name brand computer repair and Windows Vista issues. Their special articles section even covers printer troubleshooting and repair.
Wikipedia.org - Maintains a user edited, extensive listing of the different types of computer errors you can get while using windows. Has detailed descriptions of computer errors categorized so you can quickly find the error that might be plaguing your PC.
HowStuffWorks.com - Also has an extensive section on computer errors. From Invalid page faults to Illegal operations, each of these sometimes misunderstood windows errors is dicussed in detail. Learning about the actual error itself and what can cause it will help you fix it on your own system.
SpeedGuide.net - This site concentrates on system performance, with areas including Broadband Internet connections, Windows, Overclocking, all targeted towards a technically aware (advanced users) audience. A large section of SpeedGuide.net is dedicated to Cable Modems and DSL technology, stressing on improving TCP/IP performance over high speed/latency networks. Note: A nice site, but as they mention, mainly for the advanced PC user/programmer.
